We champion a world where every ability is valued: advocating for access, dignity, and equal opportunity so that inclusion becomes a lived reality, not just an ideal.
Disability Inclusion
Overview
How You Can Help
The Mercy Wanjau Foundation (MWF) strives to be a beacon of hope by driving social transformation and inclusive growth across Kenya. Our Persons with Disabilities (PWD) pillar is built on the fundamental belief that disability is not inability and that equal access to opportunities, especially in the burgeoning digital economy, is a fundamental right. We directly address the pervasive challenges of limited access to employment, digital exclusion, and societal stigma.
While anchored firmly in Kirinyaga County, our model is designed for scalability. We focus on dismantling the barriers of accessibility and lack of inclusive education by forging strategic partnerships with specialized institutions and community service organizations to provide targeted digital skills, assistive technology, and mentorship.
